Over the years we have had many of our cats become Grand Champions and Grand Premiers in the Cat Fancier Association (CFA). To become a Grand Champion (GC), a cat has to place over 200 other Champions. To become A Grand Premier (GP), an altered cat has to place over 75 other Premiers.

We feel it is fitting to put up pictures of these wonderful cats in no particular order. We are so proud of these Maine Coons, and the owners that worked hard to get them titled. Mahalo Nui!!!

I want to thank my dear friend, Page Shepherd (and Dottie -- I bet your opinion was asked often), for all the hours and hours of work you did to create such a truly beautiful and unique picture display of all the Makanacoon cats that achieved Grand Champion and Grand Premier titles at shows through the years. These pictures have helped a lot of us who showed in CFA for so many years relive a lot of precious moments of laughter, and smiles, and feelings of pride, when one of our Makanacoon cats met the Maine Coon standard and was successful. These pictures also remind me of the times I would sit back and watch so many of you who had a kitten spend your time to groom them, train them, show them, and most of all love them. This has been one of the greatest joys in my life. I know a lot of people, like me, go back to look at your work, Page. I know for me it has helped me to feel what we used to feel back in the days of happier times. This is what these pictures mean to so many of us.
